Our Mission

There are four main components of our team mission.

  1. Reinvest the money from recycling the cans in our office to use for various activities/events.
  2. Hold revolving drives every 1-2 months for things like food, stuffed animals, backpacks, pennies, blood, books, etc.
  3. Monthly team events where we go out in to the community and find unique and fun ways to help, examples:
    1. Helping our DLNR Na Ala Hele trails partner with trail clearing.
    2. Working on a taro farm/organic garden.
    3. Building a house with Habitat for Humanity.
    4. Athletic events.
    5. Beach cleanup.
    6. Boat harbor cleanup
    7. Various community work days:
      1. Friends of Paepae O He'eia fishpond
      2. Pouhala Marsh Cleanup
    8. Lots more!
  4. Extra events around the holiday season, with sponsoring families, food drives and more.

Individual volunteering is encouraged for employees on their own time. Find things you are passionate about and do them. Or if you already volunteer, showcase your efforts on this site.

By having lots of events and choices on things to do, by making almost everything non-monetary, and by holding team events throughout the island (not just in town), I think we can make this a big success!
